Celebs Love Hello Kitty
One of my personal favorite brands of all time is Hello Kitty. In 1974, Hello Kitty was born in Japan. A young Tokyo-based company called Sanrio asked designer Ikuko Shimizo to invent a cartoon animal who would appeal to the preteen girl in everyone. She's a white, mouth-less female kitten who lives in a seemingly perfect world. Hello Kitty has become one of the most prominent and recognizable Japanese characters on Earth, found on everything from handbags to bath towels.
Mariah Carey, Tyra Banks and Kimora Lee Simmons may be grown up celebrities, but they're not too old to purr over Hello Kitty. This brand is a major hit in Hollywood which remind people of their childhood. A lot of stars are hello kitty fans because she's really cute and there are lots of functional stuff with a fun design. Hello Kitty products usually add a spark of excitement and creativity to mundane things in life which is important to us.
